Salient Technical Features including Competing Features |
Copper slag is a siliceous material and refractory in nature. Dissolution of the slag in sulphate media for recovery of iron is usually found very difficult as silica forms a thick gel. An innovative process is developed at CSIR-NML for dissolution of copper slag for recovery of iron which obviate the problem of silica dissolution and interference during recovery process. |
