Training and entrepreneurship development

Aligning with the policy of central government to create a conducive entrepreneurial eco-system in India, CSIR-National Metallurgical Laboratory (CSIR-NML) established a section 8 company named CSIR-NML Technology and Business Incubation Centre [NML-TBIC] at Jamshedpur. The objectives of NML-TBiC are

• To incubate technologies available with CSIR-NML in field of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering
• To incubate innovative ideas available with entrepreneurs with the help of facilities available with CSIR or elsewhere
• To educate people about various entrepreneurship development programme by imparting different training programmes
• To develop social entrepreneurs for enhancing earning potential of marginalized population

Training on entrepreneurship development is an ongoing activity of RPBD Division.
