Job Oriented Training

Carpentry for furniture making is a skilled trade in which the primary work performed is the cutting, shaping, and installation of different components together to make the final product. In carpentry and woodcraft with 3D-Design software training, the participants are going to gain various wood cutting, shaping, and furniture making skills. Since there is a shortage of skilled manpower in the area of carpentry and so far carpentry has been considered a gender-specific skill. This training offers an opportunity for the women will fill the skill gap and will break the gender stereotype.

The Waste Management Training program, will not only heighten environmental awareness but will also promote creativity in adopting different circular economy approaches to solve problems. This training program covers key elements of the waste management system such as its technical, environmental, social, financial, and institutional aspects. The trained women will be associated with the common facilitation center of DST Women Technology park, CSIR-NML till they obtain jobs or start their ventures.
